Delivering a message powered by creative energy, Mandala is on a mission to connect the multiverse through music: to open minds to the bigger picture in life, to enlighten the masses, to unify, equalize and bring forth the inner peace that we all crave in a world fraught with chaos and turmoil.
Since 2015, the four piece lineup out of San Diego, California features Michael Trevizo and Christian Perez on guitar, Greg DeGracia on drums and Garrett Galvan on vocals.
They released their first collection of tracks in June of 2016, and their full-length album is currently in progress, set to release in 2017.
Connected through mutual love of music and the more esoteric side of thought, their lyrical subject matter takes you into the void and through the unknown.
The destination may be as yet undiscovered, but the journey has already begun. Since their inception, they’ve been building a strong local following in and around Southern California, and recently opened for The Word Alive on their Dark Matter tour.
Citing influences from bands like August Burns Red, Parkway Drive and Miss May I, their sound sears the neural pathways, resonating through the chakras, connecting deeply to the universal life force and instilling a sense of calm, emanating from the eye of the sonic hurricane that is Mandala.
